Big News for Florida! Northrop Grumman has won the contract to build the US Air Forces’ next generation Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-8). It was announced last night that Northrop beat out both Boeing and Lockheed Martin for this contract, which is expected to be over $55 billion throughout the life of the program. This is an industry award that breathes new life into the worlds sixth largest defense company.
