Sarah is a solutions-driven licensed construction surety agent and principal. She started her surety career over 20 years ago, went to work as a lead systems engineer and source selection evaluation lead for the US Navy for 7 years, and she now uses her extensive insight of the surety, construction & government contracting industries to strategize with her clients and arm them with the most competitive bonding programs, partners and opportunities. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Engineering and the Naval Postgraduate School with a Masters in Systems Engineering. Sarah has a heart for service and is a trusted advocate for her clients. Her expertise and guidance in Government contracting gives Florida Surety Bonds clients a leg up.
Sarah is also the driver and architect behind the agency’s improvements & modernizations so Florida Surety Bonds will continue to lead the industry and raise the bar for what construction business owners and leaders expect from their bonding agent for many years to come. She enjoys sharing ideas and best practices with clients, fellow business leaders & transitioning owners. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17 Sarah’s happy to share the top tools, guidance and insight she’s learned working for the Federal Government’s contracting office to help her contractors succeed.
Sarah is active in the local Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Florida Transportation & Builders Association (FTBA) and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) chapter and has a knack for putting together a winning team for her clients and helping them gain a competitive edge by sharing the latest opportunities in the industry.
Sarah’s daughter, Olivia (7), son, Luke (5) and husband, Bob (“none of your business”), are the apples of her eye and Sarah enjoys family adventures all over. Sarah is always looking for new places to explore, email her if you know of any great places!
